PAST INSTRUCTORS have included tangueros from Buenos Aires, the San Francisco Bay Area, Denver and Sacramento. Our intent is to involve a variety of instructors with solid teaching methodologies so that the students have an opportunity to learn tango without leaving the local Sacramento area. This is a great opportunity for new dancers to learn tango and for seasoned dancers to refine tango techniques. Check our website regularly for the most up to date information on upcoming events. |

Wow! What a great turn out for the first event at the Firehouse 5 Studio! The crowd was large and the atmosphere was exciting. The Sacramento tango community can be proud of Chris Peake and Dan Printz’s new tango venue. The Sacramento tango community has always been wonderfully supportive of new venues to dance tango, providing material, moral and financial support to help shoulder the considerable costs and effort involved in starting a new venture. We have a great opportunity to help Chris and Dan with the costs of starting Firehouse 5, a business from which we will all benefit. For that reason, we have begun a $500.00 matching fund for contributions made to the Firehouse 5 Studio – every dollar you donate will be DOUBLED, up to $500.00!
